At 18, Brazilian model Valentina Boscardin dies after complications from COVID-19

Brazilian model Valentina Boscardin passed away at the weekend at age 18 product of a series of complications after being infected with COVID-19.

According to the Argentine media The nation, the young woman was the daughter of Marcia Boscardin, a famous model and television host from Brazil, so her death shocked the country. The news was delivered by the television face on social networks.

“Grief. It is with a lot of pain that I say goodbye to the love of my life. Goodbye, Valentina Boscardin Mendes, may God receive you with open arms ”, wrote Marcia on her Instagram account.

According to what was reported by the Brazilian media Marie Claire, the teenager died at dawn on Sunday, January 9, after catching COVID-19, followed by a thrombosis. Last thursday the girl had been diagnosed with pneumonia.

Boscardin was part of the cast of Ford Models and was preparing for an international career following in his mother’s footsteps, who modeled for brands such as Givenchy, Christian Dior, Mosquino, Valentino and Armani, as well as being the cover of different magazines.

The model had graduated from high school in November 2021 and her mother dedicated herself to remembering that and other moments with the young woman in her stories.

Boscardin shared photos of his modeling work as well as his travels through his Instagram. His last publication was on December 19, where he appears posing on a beach in Rio de Janeiro.
