ASUS motherboards with Intel Z690 chipset appear on EEC list

There are several models with DDR4 and DDR5 support

Registration of a product that is yet to be released always delivers its existence ahead of time. Komachi, known leaker, found the records of at least 16 Asus Z690 motherboards listed on Eurasian Economic Comission (EEC). Mainboards vary between DDR5 and DDR4 support.

Apparently, Asus should offer a wide variety of motherboards for the enthusiast segment with the Z690 chipset that will receive 12th generation Intel Core CPUs. The list ranges from the Asus ROG Maximus Z690 DDR5 ready to the Prime Z690 line with DDR4 support.

The high-end Asus Rog Maximus series will feature three different models (Extreme, Formula and Hero) geared towards the enthusiast with premium quality products. The ProART z690-Creator 10G model, on the other hand, targets content creators with workstation GPU, Thunderbolt 3 and 10G LAN support.

The Asus ROG Strix line will also comprise three different models (Strix Z690-A, Z690-E and Z690-F). The abbreviation “D4” should be an indication that these boards will only support DDR4 memories. Unofficial information so far suggests that 12th generation Intel Core CPUs will ensure support for DDR4 and DDR5.

Asus Prime’s mainboard family will be the largest of them with the Z690 chipset with eight listed models that will vary between supporting DDR4 or DDR5 memory. Motherboard manufacturers are expected to unveil their products aimed at Intel Alder Lake CPUs in late October.

12th generation Intel Core processors (Alder Lake) are close to release, according to rumors. We already have information about performance, prices, cooler box, details about the Z690 chipset, which should make the debut of these processors.
