After the surprise electoral setback of the ruling party in these Simultaneous and Compulsory Open Primaries, the President of the Nation Alberto Fernández was present in the bunker of the Frente de Todos. With a low number of voters at the polls (just over two thirds), the FdT received negative results in Córdoba, the City of Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Santa Fe and 12 other provinces.
“We listen to this result very carefully. You learn from mistakes. There is a demand from the voters that we have not attended and that we will do it from tomorrow“said Fernández.
In his speech, the president said: “We only want the happiness of our people. This huge survey that is the PASO is a piece of information that allows us to see and evaluate what is happening and what we have to attend to.”
Regarding the countdown to the November elections, Alberto Fernández was self-critical and maintained that “the campaign has just begun” and added “that in November they must be won because there is a commitment to the Argentine people.”
“We do not have to go back, what we need most is to be able to move forward,” the madatario fervently declared.
Finally, Fernández explained that he still has two years left at the helm of the presidency and requested the collaboration and support of the Argentine men and women. “We are going forward that in November we will turn this story around,” he concluded.
