National music news, the Chilean progressive rock band Aisles returns to the stage on November 26 at Sala Metrónomo.
It is their first live show since January 2018 and the face-to-face premiere of vocalist Israel Gil, who joined the group in the first months of 2020 after the departure of singer Sebastián Vergara.
The concert includes a tour of the classic catalog of the sextet as well as the most recent material, which includes the singles “Fast”, “Disobedience” and “Megalomania”. Tickets are already on sale through the Puntoticket system, with a pre-sale at $ 8,000 and later at $ 10,000 (plus service charge). This will be a unique opportunity to see the group playing their new repertoire.
The band has also just released the alternate version of the video for “Megalomania”, the single that was released on August 27 through Omen Records on all digital platforms. The clip shows the sextet performing this new theme from beginning to end, through intricate passages and various instrumental changes. Germán Vergara, guitarist of the group, points out that “in contrast to what we have done in each of our video clips, where we have privileged stories instead of showing our image, this time we decided to expose ourselves. We believe that this song, which is so personal, deserved that we express ourselves more and that the public see the band in this new stage ”.
The original version of the video, directed by Bernardo Quesney and starring Geraldine Neary, Ricardo Montt and Helen Goncalvez, tells the story of a polyamorous relationship that, through a hedonistic vision of life, falls into an abyss of debauchery and doubt. Vergara mentions, “we are at a time when rock has become a conservative style and we wanted to break that with that video clip and with the song. On the one hand, the video shows another vision of love, and musically we experimented with both heavy influences and also something urban, as with a more pop vocal part. We as a band are constantly trying to break our paradigms. “
