AICM will suspend flights for 5 hours on September 16

MEXICO CITY.- The Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT) reported that the next Thursday, September 16 flights will be suspended for 5 hours in the Benito Juárez International Airport from Mexico City.

The agency pointed out that from 9 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon the landings and take-offs of all aircraft will be suspended, this to contribute to the Commemoration of the CCXI Anniversary of the Beginning of the Independence of Mexico.

Activities will resume after the event ends

This measure will be for both commercial and official aviation, and will be applied in a coordinated manner between the authorities of the Federal Civil Aviation Agency, the Secretary of National Defense and the Airport.

In the same way the SCT indicated that landings and take-offs will resume at the AICM immediately after the end of the military airshow held at the Mexico City.
