This Friday, Santos received the Certificate of Regularity from the Severance Indemnity Fund (FGTS), from Caixa Econômica Federal. The document is valid until February 12 of this year.
This means that the club is in good standing, that is, with the FGTS of all employees paid off and also the Profut (Program for Modernization of Management and Fiscal Responsibility of Brazilian Football) with payments up to date.
“Paying taxes is an obligation, but this is an important document, because when we took office in January of last year, we found many pending issues,” said President Andres Rueda.
The last time Santos got this document was in March 2019. This was even the last certificate that was missing attesting that Peixe is up to date with all taxes.
