A 41-year-old man was shot in the upper body Tuesday evening in the Montreal-North borough.
At around 5:30 p.m., shots were fired in the area of rue Charleroi and boulevard Lacordaire.
One victim, a 41-year-old man, sustained upper body injuries. At least one socket has been located on site.
“The victim was conscious during his transport to a hospital and she is not cooperative with the police,” said the spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), Julien Lévesque. His life is not in danger. The victim is known to the police.
There is no suspect at the moment.
The patrollers assisted by the dog handler are currently in search of the area. A team of investigators from the SPVM will take charge of the case.
