An 8-year-old boy was the one who called 911 to warn that his parents were “lying in the background” of their house in the Buenos Aires town of Haedo. When the police arrived at the scene, they found the couple dead. Everything indicates that they were electrocuted when they went to take their clothes off the rope and touched a cable.
The tragedy occurred in the house located at 1200 Amado Nervo street, in the Morón district. Police and firefighters found the bodies of a 39-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, both parents of the minor. As reported by the Primer Plano media, they would have received the discharge when they went to remove the clothes from the rope before the arrival of the rain.
The UFI 5 of Morón intervened in the event, under the charge of the prosecutor Carlos Oviedo, who classified the case as an investigation of causes of death and ordered the autopsies.
The boy related to the police that he was playing on the computer when he heard that his parents were going to the back of the property.
Then, he said, the power went out and he came right back. He leaned out the window and saw them lying on the floor. It was then that he called 911 for help.
According to the same media, before the storm that broke out on Monday morning, the man went to remove the clothes from the rope and received the discharge from the cable. “The walls were also electrocuted,” they clarified.
The man was barefoot and apparently the woman wanted to help him and was also electrocuted.
