Cologne remains on the road to success in the DEL, which the Grizzlys Wolfsburg could not stop either. Uwe Krupp’s team was 3-1 ahead of the runner-up on Thursday. It was the Haie’s fourth win in a row, ninth in their last ten games.
But at first it started anything but good for Cologne, the guests struck after just 38 seconds through Jonas Enlund. The answer was only 19 seconds in coming, the home team equaled in excess. In the second third, Maurice Edwards (23rd) and Quinton Howden (33rd) turned the game for the sharks who brought home the three.
As fifth in the table, Cologne is only two points behind the fourth-placed Wolfsburg in one game less.
