77 more people die from COVID-19 in Jalisco


Another 77 people died in the last 24 hours in Jalisco as a result of COVID-19, according to the daily report of the Jalisco Health Secretariat.

With these deaths, there are already a thousand 258 people who have lost their lives throughout the pandemic caused by the virus in our Entity.

In addition, the state agency reported 1,636 new infections this Tuesday, with which they add up to an accumulated 361 thousand 341 infections since March 2020.

To give an overview of the impact of COVID-19 in our State, it could be said that with the number of people who have fallen ill with coronavirus in this time, the Jalisco Stadium could be filled 6.5 times to its maximum capacity.

Guadalajara is the municipality that has registered the most infections, with a total of 118,734, followed by Zapopan with 84,419 cases and Tlaquepaque, with 23,198.

At the national level, Mexico reported 1,046 more deaths, with which there are 269,015 deaths associated with COVID-19, according to the Federal Ministry of Health.

The agency also reported that in the last 24 hours the country added 12,929 new infections, for a total of 3,528,972 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic.
